Membership

Lord of Life Lutheran Church was organized in 1981 with 160 charter members. 

• Our membership now numbers over 1,300.
• Membership Types:  Full or Associate

How To Become A Member

• By Letter of Transfer
  If you are a member of another congregation, we will write that congregation to request a letter of transfer, or if you prefer you may write for that letter.
• By Reaffirmation of Faith
  If you have been a member elsewhere some years past and are not currently active, you may be received by reaffirmation of faith.  
• By Profession of Faith
  By being baptized (if not previously baptized), you affirm your faith, indicating your acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Persons who are in the area part-time, and who desire to maintain their membership "back home" may become Associate members. This means that for statistical purposes you are counted in the other congregation, but have all the privileges of membership at Lord of Life. 

All persons desiring membership are asked to attend two short evening orientation sessions just prior to each formal reception of new members.
