Lord of Life Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). The ELCA includes 2.7 million Lutherans in 8,400 congregations around the country.  As part of the 78 million worldwide Lutheran family, we proudly proclaim the good news of God's saving love in Jesus Christ for all people. The Holy Scriptures are the source and norm of our faith and life. They announce God's gift of salvation to us through Jesus Christ.

We are committed to serving in love all people in our community and beyond. We welcome people who differ in age, gender, ethnicity, color, ability, and cultural background; who differ in economic and marital status; who vary in sexual orientation, gender identity, political persuasion, and country of origin; and who have an array of feelings about church and faith. All means all.

The ELCA is the most "mainline" of Lutheran churches. We have great diversity of opinion within the denomination on a variety of religious and social issues. The ELCA does not dictate what we are to believe on many issues. It encourages people to study the Bible and discuss issues with other Christians in order to form their own conclusions.
