February Gratitude Gift: Supporting International Women

Total: $1,995

Your gifts will help support the education of 200 additional international women through educational seminars, south-to-south exchanges, in-country study programs and degree programs at ELCA colleges and universities.

Feed My Starving Children
Wow, what a wonderful experience it has been to host our 3rd FMSC Mobile Pack Event! We welcomed nearly 700 volunteers from neighboring congregations, community groups, schools, youth groups and scout troops, as well as those from our own Lord of Life family.  Energy was high, hearts were full, and hands were ready and willing to work.  Our efforts resulted in packing 132,192 meals, which will feed 362 children for a full year!  Smiles lit up the room like sunshine and we received so many positive comments from our volunteers.  Thank you to all for helping to turn hunger into hope for God’s precious children! "And if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday." Isaiah 58:10
